How On-the-Ground Network handles the information you share with us, and what happens on this website.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Who we are

On-the-Ground Network provides independent field services — inspection, verification, attendance and related tasks — carried out in Türkiye on behalf of clients based elsewhere. We operate this website at ongroundnetwork.com.

For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, contact us at info@ongroundnetwork.com.

The short version

We collect two things: what you send us when you ask for a quote, and anonymous statistics about how this page is used — the second only if you agree to it. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers that follow you around the web, and we do not send marketing emails to people who did not ask for them.

Information you give us

When you submit the request form on this site, it opens your own email application or WhatsApp with the details filled in. Nothing is transmitted until you press send — the website itself does not store your submission.

Once you send that message, we receive whatever you included, which typically means:

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and — if you go ahead — carry out and document the assignment. In data protection terms this is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become assignments are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed assignments are kept for as long as we may need them for accounting, tax and liability purposes, and then deleted.

Confidentiality

Assignment details are treated as confidential. We do not publish client identities or commercial details, and we do not disclose to a supplier, seller or other party being checked who instructed us — unless you tell us to, or the law requires it.

Information collected automatically

Analytics — only with your consent

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which services people look at, how far down the page they read, and whether they go on to contact us. This tells us what to improve. IP addresses are anonymised.

If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. The measurement script is not even loaded.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type and time of request — to deliver pages and protect against attacks. This is necessary for the website to function securely and does not depend on cookies.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of the homepage. Choosing "Decline" stops analytics from that point on. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser.

Who else sees your data

We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. Each of them processes data on our behalf, under their own contractual and legal obligations:

ProviderWhat for
GoogleWebsite analytics, and advertising measurement where you have consented
CloudflareWebsite hosting, domain and security
ZohoOur business email, hosted in the European Union
WhatsApp (Meta)If you choose to contact us that way — their own privacy terms apply to the message

Where an assignment requires it, we share the minimum necessary information with the local representative carrying out the work — for example the address to visit and the checklist to follow. Representatives are bound to confidentiality.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

International transfers

We are based in Türkiye, so information you send us is processed there. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another region with similar rules, this means your data leaves that region. Transfers are made on the basis of your request for our services and, where required, appropriate safeguards with our providers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email info@ongroundnetwork.com. We will respond within one month. We do not charge for this, and asking will never affect how we treat your enquiry.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Our email is protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC to reduce the risk of someone impersonating us — worth knowing, since our business involves people deciding whether to send money. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and something feels wrong, contact us on the number published on this site before acting on it.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information you already gave us will be communicated directly where we can.
